Tristan won the south island champs at Ruapuna on 2/03/03. His best time was 10.6 @ 121 mph. (1.5sec 60 ft)

His bike is a 1979 SUZUKI GS 1000 and it is running in A/PRO class.
The motor is a Suzuki GSX 1135 EFE which is fairly stock except for slingshot 38mm carbs
It runs GSXR rims with 4" over swing arm and lowered 2" both ends.
The tank is a dummy item and the seat is aluminum. It also has a homemade air-shifter.
I am 30 years old and used to race side chairs at speedway until I shattered my leg in a bad accident,
I then got introduced to drag racing and ran my 'steetfighter' GS to a best time of 10.7 @ 125 and decided I needed to go quicker.
Then I built this machine running a stock motor at first then the EFE.
I am in the process of fitting a 7" slick at the moment and plan to produce some more horsepower for next season. It has cost a modest amount of money so far but has provided a huge amount of fun.
The highlight of this season was winning the south island champs but I would like to get to the nationals next season and have a run there.
