Craig's BB/Pro bike is based on a 1984 Suzuki 750s,  popup headlight model Katana, and was built by Craig between 2003 &2005.

Basic specifications are as follows.......... 

Front End: Wheel…GSX400                                Forks…Standard Katana 

Rear End:  Wheel…Widened Katana                    Tyre.…Goodyear Eagle 18” x 7” wide slick

Engine…GS1000 Turbo charged, 997cc, 8 valve.  Camshaft by Kelford Cams

Gearrbox: Standard Katana                                 Clutch: Standard, with 1 extra plate

Carburettor:  Mikuni HS40                                    Ignition: Mallory 685   

Exhaust: Custom                                                 Turbo Charger: Garret T2

Crew Members: James and Lionel 

Best ET: 9.922                                                    Best mph: 138.88 at The Rock Motueka Dragway, Easter 2007.

This ET was good enough to finally take the BB/PRO record from long time record holder and now retired racer, Tex Daniels.
