17^th January 2004 NZDRA National Point Series Competition Meeting #3

Champion Dragway hosted the 3^rd event of the National Point Series as a Saturday twilight event and while the crowd numbers were down (we will not clash with Kumeu again!!!) there was some excellent racing with a good field of cars.  For an update of the NZDRA Points placings phone Chris Tynan on 0800 4 NZDRA or email Chris on nzdra@xtra.co.nz

A wet day with racing interrupted 4 times by rain saw us finish racing around 7.30pm.  The prize giving for the NZDRA 17^th January meeting plus our own event for the day was held at the Muddy Waters that evening.

On the 12^th March there will be a prize giving at the conclusion of racing at the bottom of the Timing Tower.  Awards for each category will include Trophies for 1^st, Certificates to 3^rd place plus $300 1^st, $200 2^nd, $100 3^rd. Recipients must be present or prizes will be forfeited.
